On Good Friday, League of Friends volunteers visited the hospital wards and the Urgent Treatment Centre to hand out Easter presents. This long-standing tradition is a feature on the Charity's calendar and was once again undertaken by the familiar team of Maureen Clark and Diane Hulse, supported by Judy Barratt, the League's Secretary. The gifts, mini Easter eggs dressed in knitted 'chick' jackets, were highly appreciated by all, not only for the chocolate treat but also for the skilled craftwork produced by Maureen and volunteer colleague Sylvia Stuart.
