Following an upgrade to the hospital wifi, the League has bought tabletop tablets to enable the streaming of TV and radio to patients' bedsides.
This latest contribution represents an addition to the entertainment initiatives provided previously. Music players and radios were donated in 2022 using playlists curated by DJs at Erewash Sound. More recently we have provided replacement TVs in the ward side rooms.
The first patient to use the new streaming service is Jennifer Brown who elected to watch 'Home and Away' on Channel 5'. Jennifer is pictured here with Eva-Marie Sealey and Aimee Smith.
