Frequently Asked Questions

Trent Barton services 33 and 34 both stop at the hospital's main entrance.  The 33 (Ilkeston - Mansfield) connects Heanor, Langley Mill and Eastwood to ICH. The 34 bus ( Ilkeston - Hucknall) additionally connects Kimberley.

If you would like to speak to someone then please either send us an email or leave a message on the main hospital telephone number, stating that you would like a call back from the League of Friends. 

Our bank details are shown on the downloadable form available on the  How To Donate  Page.    Alternatively, we are happy to accept your kindness in an old-school way, cheques are equally welcome with an accompanying note. If you pay us digitally, please fill out the form, we feel uncomfortable when we can't acknowledge someone's generosity.

Yes, parking your car is currently free.

Probably, we continuously try to fulfil volunteer preferences but it isn't always possible. Providing us with some participation flexibility and time slot alternatives helps us to ensure that our on-site services are continuous.  

Easy one. absolutely. Each member of our volunteer team brings time, energy and commitment to the League.  The collective result in the eyes of the hospital staff is well reflected in the typical comment below:-
